Nintendo has commented on the recent speculation surrounding the new Legend of Zelda title. With a statement that does not clearly deny any Revolution functionality for the new Zelda game, the Japanese gaming giant has suggested that the NGC story on the game was nothing but pure speculation.
The full statement by Nintendo, given to EuroGamer, claims: Nintendo have made no new announcements regarding The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. We can however confirm that the game is still in development and that it will launch on Nintendo GameCube in 2006. It is obvious that the company is not committing itself to any Zelda feature but just that it claims that it has not given NGC any inside information on the much anticipated, Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess.
