Although the Phantom console was announced in January 2003, not much information and no physical evidence of its existence have yet appeared. The postponement of the Ultimate Gamers Expo has delayed Infinium Labs plans a bit further since they will now have to unveil their console online on August 17th, at Phantom.net, the new web site dedicated to the console.
Due to the sudden postponement of the Ultimate Gamers Expo, Infinium Labs will unveil the Phantom game console online at midnight on Sunday, August 17, at phantom.net and infiniumlabs.com, said Timothy Roberts, CEO and founder of Infinium Labs. We also will explore the opportunity to exhibit the Phantom game console at COMDEX, the global technology marketplace trade show that takes place November 17–20, 2003, in Las Vegas. So in the best case we will finally have evidence of the physical presence of the console in mid-November.
