Description
It looks odd, but Mario Party 8 for Wii has been pulled off UK stores after discovering "Offensive Content".

Before its 13th of July, Friday release, Mario Party 8 has been delayed by a number of weeks for undisclosed reasons. But soon after the game hit the stores, Nintendo recalled it over the weekend.

Nintendo UK official website states:
"Unfortunately we have discovered that a small number of games contain the wrong version of the disk due to an assembly error. We have therefore decided to recall all copies of the game from UK retailers so that this mistake can be corrected.
We will re-launch Mario Party 8 in the UK as soon as possible and will announce a new launch date shortly. We very much regret any inconvenience caused."

The British offensive content is one phrase uttered by Kamek the blue wizard during the game. The same phrase exists in the American version, but it is deemed inoffensive there. If you are British, you might want to skip the following paragraph which would contain the offensive text.

During the game, Kamek the blue wizard would sometimes say: "Magikoopa magic! Turn the train spastic! Make this ticket tragic!". In UK, the word "spastic" (and a wealth of its derivatives) is a common schoolyard insult that implies a mental or physical disability – particularly relating to the symptoms of cerebral palsy.
